The Asbestos Abatement Process

Creating the plan

By hiring us, you can be assured that your project will not only receive high-quality service but also assure compliance with all local laws. We’ll create a detailed plan to ensure the area is treated ethically and cleanly while following everything from state regulations on waste disposal down through every last detail!

Marking the site

The site will be clearly marked with signs and boundaries, informing all building occupants that they must leave the area until completion of abatement.

Sealing off the area

We will seal off any affected areas with thick plastic sheets to ensure no asbestos can leave the affected area during abatement. This includes covering air ducts and disabling HVAC systems.

Removing hazardous materials

The abatement team will wear protective clothing and respirators while they are working carefully to ensure no asbestos fibers enter the air.
They do so by wetting hazardous materials to help solidify any dust.
They are then sealed in a protective lining, which is then disposed offsite.

Vacuuming the site

To minimize the risk of dispersion during asbestos removal, we will use special vacuums with HEPA filtration and clean surfaces afterwards.

Cleaning everything thoroughly after abatement

Once we have removed or encapsulated all asbestos-containing materials, our team will clean the area and take air samples to ensure your site is safe. We’ll only remove plastic barriers if a workplace returns negative results for dangerous substances and the site has been deemed safe!
